Living Well With Dementia: A National Dementia Strategy

This strategy provides a strategic framework within which local services can

• deliver quality improvements to dementia services and address health inequalities relating to dementia;
• provide advice and guidance and support for health and social care commissioners and providers in the planning, development and monitoring of services; and
• provide a guide to the content of high-quality services for dementia.

The Open Dementia Programme

The Open Dementia e-Learning Programme is aimed at anyone who comes into contact with someone with dementia and provides a general introduction to the disease and the experience of living with dementia.

There's nothing wrong with my memory!

Wiltshire Council have produced a 10 minute DVD 'There's nothing wrong with my memory!' to give some basic tips and advice on how to recognise what is a memory problem and what is not. It will tell you what can cause memory problems, where to go to get help and what to do next. The DVD contains interviews with people living with dementia, their carers and several professionals.
