"Getting Better" - DVDs About Health, for People with Learning Disabilities
"Getting Better" (2010) and "Getting Better in Hospital" (2011) are two new DVD packs about healthcare, designed to be accessible to patients with learning disabilities and support them in their dealings with the health services.

The National Autistic Society: the leading UK charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their families. They provide information, support and pioneering services, and campaign for a better world for people with autism.

Connexions Direct: offers information, advice and support on a range of issues affecting young people.

Shaw Trust: a national charity which supports disabled and disadvantaged people to prepare for work, find jobs and live more independently.

Housing for people with Learning Disabilities

Housing Options: a Housing Advisory Service for People with Learning Disabilities. They also have an Advice Line which is available 5 days a week. You can call them on 0845 4561497

Keyring:  is based on people living in their own homes but sharing their skills and talents with each other and with their communities.
