What is a Carers Emergency Card?

The Carers Emergency Card is an initiative run by Wiltshire Council. It will identify you as a carer in the event of an accident or emergency. It is a credit card size so it will fit in a wallet or purse; there is also a key ring issued and additional card for use in a car or your home. They only have your unique PIN number and contact details for the Carers’ Emergency Scheme. No personal information is recorded on the card. The leaflet below gives more details about this free scheme

Get Discounts!

If you hold a Carers Emergency Card, you are eligible to receive the Wiltshire Passport card. The Wiltshire Passport will enable you to receive small discounts or additional services from businesses and organisations that are signed up to the scheme.

A list of all participating places is available on Wiltshire Council's website and will also be sent out to all who receive the card.
